Creative Partnerships* promoted creative learning in schools by helping schools, children and creative practitioners find innovative ways of working together. The Mighty Creatives managed the programme in the East Midlands between 2009 and 2011, focusing on empowering young people as co-producers of creative learning.

The Journals Project
This is an exciting project for young people aged 11-21 to record their stories, thoughts and feelings in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.
This project includes visits to events and a chance to get behind the scenes. Last year’s participants worked around the Special Olympics which Leicester played host to in July 2009.

Find Your Talent
Find Your Talent* offered children and young people the chance to take part in arts and cultural activities both in and out of school. The Mighty Creatives collaborated with Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council to help deliver this work in the two counties between 2009 and 2010, focusing on empowering young people as consumers, creators, critics and commissioners of culture.

Ignition
Ignition* promoted creative science activities and events in the East Midlands aimed at creating and nurturing young champions of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Delivered by Ignition working in partnership with The Mighty Creatives, this programme ran between 2008 and 2011.

MLA Strategic Commissioning
Strategic Commissioning* aimed to build capacity within museums, archives and galleries to develop and deliver learning activities, for children and young people. The Mighty Creatives delivered this work in the East Midlands and East of England between 2009 and 2011, focusing on the development of an innovative youth engagement framework for the museums and archives sector.

Progress
The Mighty Creatives are working with the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) to deliver the Progress project in the East Midlands. The purpose of the Progress project is to build the capacity of the voluntary and community sector by providing 25,000 accredited training places for volunteers and paid staff to meet the needs of young people.

Arts Council England Bridge Organisation
From 1st April 2012, The Mighty Creatives will start work as one of Arts Council England’s Bridge organisations, helping ensure all children and young people in the East Midlands have access to the riches of the arts and culture. To deliver this work, we will be working with our partners Arts Learning East Midlands.

Cultural Olympiad
In 2012, the year of the London Olympics, The Mighty Creatives is delighted to be supporting a host of activities as part of the Cultural Olympiad. These include:
Big Dance
Big Dance 2012 is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of dance. Taking place across the UK, Big Dance will feature thousands of events inspired by dance, in all sorts of locations and in all dance styles. The Mighty Creatives is an ambassador for the programme which is led in the East Midlands by Dance4.

somewhereto_
somewhereto_ is a nationwide project helping 16-25s across the UK find incredible spaces to do the things they love, all absolutely free! The Mighty Creatives is working with WotBox Participation to co-ordinate the programme in the East Midlands.
World Young Artists Event 2012
TMC is working with arts organisations in Nottingham to develop a series of projects lead by young artists to offer opportunities for young people to engage with the World Event for Young Artists. The Event will take place in Nottingham from 6th to 17th September, 2012 when 1,000 young artists from across the world will come to Nottingham for ten days of arts exhibitions, discussions and exchange. The programme is supported by Arts Council England.
