Find Your Talent
Find Your Talent Leicester Shire ran between September 2008 and November 2010 and was led by the County Council, the City Council and The Mighty Creatives.
Here is a message from the FYT team:
"Find Your Talent Leicester Shire engaged thousands of children and young people in a range of creative projects, events and festivals. We have worked with over 350 partners across a wide range of different cultural activities including dance, museums and heritage, digital media, theatre, literature, painting, music, film, singing and many more.
"Behind all of this work has been a committment to help cultural organisations and providers to work more collaboratively with children and young people, involving them at every stage of activity; design, delivery and evaluation.
"The end of Find Your Talent does not mean the end of the County Council's support for the cultural sector to work with the community to influence and improve services. Our challenge now is to ensure that the organisations and individuals funded by Find Your Talent are supported to continue exploring what a 'collaborative cultural offer' really means, the benefits it offers and how to achieve it."
