The Cultural Life Award
The Creative Learning Award
The Partnership Working Award

The Creative Enterprise Award
In addition to the Awards ceremony itself, the evening’s entertainment offered a showcase of live music, spoken world, film, dance and drama performance. All artists and businesses that took part in the showcase had been supported by The Mighty Creatives through the start-up creative enterprise programme the Bank of TMC.
Nick Owen MBE, The Mighty Creatives CEO said: “It was an inspiring night. Bringing together businesses, creatives, projects and young people to celebrate and enjoy the work being done by and for, children and young people right across the East Midlands. We are proud of the work we do and absolutely inspired by the creativity of the children and young people we help to support and provide a platform for. We are grateful also for the support we constantly receive – in kind and financial - to allow this work, these kind of events, to happen.”
The event’s programme included inspirational guest speakers such as BBC Get Inspired Unsung Hero Award Winner Marcellus Baz, who shared his inspirational journey from being a victim of gang violence, to running his own successful boxing club. The evening provided a great opportunity to bring together the cultural, education and business sectors; to meet, share and support children and young people as the next generation of talented creative leaders and producers. There was fantastic cross-sector support on the night with so many organisations attending, sponsoring, and donating to the Gala Campaign, ensuring the continuation of this unrivalled and valuable cultural offer across the Midlands.
