Hubbub Theatre Company is hosting a practical day of devised integrated physical theatre, exploring the ‘Space in Between’ learning disabled and non-disabled performance
The event will be exploring the ‘Space in Between’ learning disabled and non-disabled performance and sharing what they've discovered to date from their LaunchPad actor training programme, which has been running for the last year.
The day is designed for theatre makers, producers, artists, writers and creatives and hopes to give an insight into the process and experience of working in a devised physical theatre space with actors with and without learning disabilities. It will be a day of doing, seeing, talking and reflecting on the unique creative potential inspired by a collaborative approach. Hubbub will be joined by their project partners Gecko Theatre, Told by an Idiot and Can't Sit Still who will be delivering workshops alongside discussions, film and a scratch performance of Hubbub's new show.
Even if your focus isn’t working with learning disabled performers, the day will offer exciting new approaches to devising creative work and a vibrant arena in which to discuss, share and grow.
The event will be held at Déda from 10am - 6pm on Friday 22nd June.
Tickets are £25.00 including lunch and are available here: http://bit.ly/2JqPLQu
