We have mapped every accredited Artsmark school, Arts Award Centre & Supporter, every major partner or accredited museum, all our Music Education Hubs and National Portfolio Organisations in the East Midlands so you can now drill down and find who is part of the region’s rich cultural education network where you live or work.
So for every organisation that is now planning to provide a cultural education for children and young people in the East Midlands, there are now three key steps available to you - all free, all straight forward - to make sure that
Our new mapping tools allows you to drill down at street by street level to know where those organisations who are alive, agile to the prospect of providing a world-class cultural education. The network is wider and richer than you might imagine and we have maps that cover the region and every county so:
It's simple to use. The '+' or '-' tabs in the top left corner allows you to zoom in to street level and out across the region. The bullet point symbol in the pink title box is the key, and the paper filing symbol allows you to filter what you are seeing on the map according to the key's classification. Click on any symbol on the map and you get the contact details of the organisation.
Arts Council England’s Cultural Education Data Portal aims to bring together and provide easy access to a wide variety of data sources relating to children and young people, demographics, art, culture and education. The data portal to help support evidence-based planning at a local level, paint a picture of strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for a high-quality cultural offer, or simply to gather data and evidence to support funding bids.
Our Collective Outcomes Tool is a simple method of collecting quantitative data to build a picture of the impact arts and cultural organisations are having on children and young people’s cultural education. The Collective Outcomes Tool will help us to understand if we achieving our mission and overcoming inequality of opportunity for children and young people’s cultural education.
This simple data tool, in the form of an excel spreadsheet, is for arts and cultural organisations who are working with schools. The data will be used to produce impact statements about cultural education activity across the East Midlands, demonstrating the collective breadth of activity and impact - benefiting the sector through gaining insight on activity.
