Join our professional expert, Katie Lloyd, the Development Officer for Heritage Lottery Fund East Midlands for this introductory workshop to HLF, which awards funding for projects that seek to provide children and young people with inspiring opportunities to explore local green spaces, museums and historic sites, share memories and local traditions.
This workshop will give you an overview of the funding available, and will provide the tools to submit your first application with confidence. The Heritage Lottery Fund particularly seeks to encourage further applications to their Young Roots scheme, therefore this workshop will be of particular relevance to organisations working with children and young people across education, community and cultural settings.
A networking lunch will also be provided, allowing anyone attending to plug into The Mighty Creatives’ extensive networks, exchange ideas and begin to develop collaborations.
What previous delegates thought:
“I can now see how projects could work across schools, using funding from HLF to support them. Explanation/expectations of HLF were made incredibly clear. Ideas/advice to plan/deliver projects were very helpful…”
“We are currently exploring ideas for future projects with schools and community organisations, and this has increased confidence about HLF funding for these projects.”
