  • 19th November 2019, 10:00 - 15:30
  • The Venue @ DMU, 20 Western Boulevard, Leicester, LE2 7BU

Is your LCEP ready for 2020 and beyond?

The Mighty Creatives in partnership with Arts Connect and Festivals Bridge, and co-hosted by The City Classroom, invite you to join us in the first Gathering that brings together Local Cultural Education Partnerships (LCEPs) from across the East Midlands, West Midlands, Norfolk, Norwich, Suffolk, Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. This cross regional Gathering will be an opportunity to explore shared experiences, learn from each other and to imagine possibilities for their future. LCEPs respond to local needs and are each unique in their response.

At this event we will:

  • Explore the diversity of LCEP models across the East Midlands, West Midlands and East Anglia through place making and identity
  • Develop an understanding of how LCEPs are impacting and shaping the delivery of cultural education
  • Develop an understanding of the importance of data collection and evaluation to evidence impact in the development and delivery of LCEPs
  • Explore the potential of young people’s voice in developing LCEPs
  • Share approaches to sustainability and investment for LCEPs
  • Explore the role of schools in the delivery of LCEPs and the impact of the new Ofsted Framework
  • Provide opportunities to network across the three regions including facilitated Open Space conversations based on your suggestions during the Gathering

As part of the day, you’ll have the opportunity to join a workshop. You can find more information about these below. Please take a read and select your chosen workshop when booking.
